The SEC said Wednesday it had settled charges against Coinschedule.com operator Blotics for violating the anti-touting provisions of federal securities law. Still, commissioners Elad Roisman and Hester Peirce claim the regulator missed the chance to define which touted assets were securities. In Zooko Wilcox-O'Hearn's words, "Is it normal for two sitting SEC commissioners to publicly castigate their own agency for its failure to provide good public policy?"
