Hong Kong-based singer-songwriter Hanjin Tan, the first musician to launch a Chinese music non-fungible token (NFT), discusses the role of NFTs as a potential lifeline in helping close the income gap among struggling musicians in China and other parts of Asia. "70% of professional musicians make $0 from music distribution... that's totally unacceptable," Tan said. "NFTs could be the answer."
