Beauty mogul Michelle Phan and Lolli founder Alex Adelman have made bitcoin a central point of their businesses.
The decentralization of money is a continuation of the same process that saw YouTube decentralize content. Phan said in the beginning of her presence on YouTube, a lot of mystery was involved in the beauty space where the average consumer was not educated about makeup techniques compared to today. “I see the same thing happening today in the crypto space,” she said. She describes what she wishes to teach her viewers about bitcoin, and what her fan’s reactions have been purchasing bitcoin for the first time.
Phan’s first venture investment was in Lolli, a bitcoin rewards startup. Lolli co-founder and CEO Alex Adelman explains their plans for mass adoption.
