At 5:06 pm PST today, my Twitter account (aantonop) was compromised, as part of a broader attack that appears to be an inside job at Twitter. My 2FA was disabled, password changed, sessions logged out and (to add insult to injury) the email associated with @aantonop on Twitter was changed so that Twitter Support won't respond to my requests for support.
I am using @aantonop_es, my Spanish language backup Twitter account for now. You can verify that it is mine by watching the video or verifying the PGP signature on this message:
